In order for the game to play music, the Windows Media Source Filter must be re-installed on newer versions of Windows

Install the Windows Media Source Filter^[3]
Download the Windows Media Source Filter Installer v1.7 Extract the contents from the `.zip` file into a folder. Right-click the `ApplyPatch.bat` and run it as Administrator. Copy `strmdll.dll` and `drmclien.dll` into the game's installation folder. Make sure to use an un-patched version of the original `.exe` for the music to work in the game. (or at least one that works). Launch the game. Notes If the text in the console window is red, then you need to run the `ApplyPatch.bat` as Administrator Windows Defender may appear with a warning when running the file. Select 'More info' and then 'Run anyway'

Extract the contents from the .zip file into a folder.
